About VantaPool

VantaPool organizes publicly reported equity-swap activity on U.S. stocks and ETFs.

The name is the spec.

The name carries the idea. Vanta, after vantablack, the part of the market that ordinary holdings views never render.Pool, the pooled record of reported swap activity. VantaPool renders that record plainly, exactly as it was reported.

Together the name is the job: organize publicly reported equity-swap activity into readable, symbol-level views. We do not interpret intent or identify counterparties. We report what was reported.

Organize publicly reported equity-swap activity on U.S. stocks and ETFs so you see what was reported, not a guess at it.

Why swaps

Quarterly holdings are snapshots, and ordinary holdings views never render the whole picture. A reported equity swap can carry large notional tied to a U.S. stock or ETF without showing up where most people look.

Why public data

Equity-swap activity is publicly reported. The record exists, but it is hard to read. We organize the figures exactly as they were reported.

Why now

The public record has accumulated for years, but no one had organized it into a clean, symbol-level view built to use every morning. We surface reported notional precisely, by symbol, without the verdict.

One system of record, read four ways.

Active traders

A morning read on reported notional.

Researchers & analysts

A clean, comparable symbol-level record.

Journalists

Defensible, sourced swap-activity context.

Builders

The same data over an API, planned.

VantaPool is a research surface for reported equity-swap activity. The numbers we show are the numbers that were reported.

VantaPool is an independent company. We organize publicly reported activity, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any party that appears in it.

Who builds it.

We are a small, independent team. No outside funding, no trading desk, just the work of making the public record readable. Questions about the data or methodology go to contact@vantapool.com.
